Synopsis
In the empire of Aclya, power and influence are inherited as if they were just another family property. The noble houses, of "blue" blood, constantly fight to increase their prestige and secure their position in the line of succession to the throne. But in the midst of this struggle, there are those who do not fit into the established molds, those who challenge expectations and question the system.
Reedal is one of them. He is a respected and recognized wizard for his abilities, but his lack of noble lineage makes him an outcast in society. He lives in an isolated tower, away from the politics and intrigue of the court. However, everything changes when the dukes of Esnain visit him with a request he cannot refuse: to train their son, Vaenal.
Vaenal is the fourth son of the duke, a young man who has not yet found his way in life and who seems to lack the exceptional abilities of his older brothers. Reluctantly, Reedal is forced to accept the young man and is drawn into the complicated world of nobility, where alliances and betrayals are commonplace.
As the bonds between master and apprentice strengthen, the tense and hostile atmosphere of nobility becomes increasingly dangerous. Vaenal will discover secrets of the world of magic that no one else knows, while Reedal will be forced to reconsider his beliefs and learn to care for someone who has come to matter to him more than he ever thought possible.
