Synopsis
Everything in Cain’s life feels wrong. Twisted, somehow. Writhing under the weight of invisible shackles, he squirms and thrashes against the world. Pointlessly. Because he is too thoroughly broken to be capable of fixing himself, much less the world around him. He’s powerless.
So, he takes the easy way out. He escapes by giving up on escape.
And winds up somewhere that’s somehow even worse because of it.
The one upside; he will never be powerless again.
What to expect:
» Irregular updates (brain no work when want it to)» Medium-to-long chapter length (by RR’s standards)» Slow-burn (as in the pacing is shit, but it’ll get good eventually)» Weird shit (just in general, y’know)
Contains depictions of/references to abuse, suicide, self-harm, mental illness, and lots of other “fun” things. Reader discretion advised.
