Alex woke up to his new life a hundred years too late. The people he was meant to save are long dead, and their descendants languish under the villainous yoke they've been burdened with. The lich he was meant to kill has had a hundred years of preparation and consolidation. Alex is alone. He has to move slowly, gather allies and information, and make something of absolutely nothing. All while evading the eye of a being powerful beyond his comprehension. Either he'll live up to his purpose and save the world he snoozed on, or he'll fulfill his identity as the worthless Sleepy Hero.
