I've been re-reading the Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus books and have been feeling inspired, so I thought I'd make my first serious attempt at FanFic. I'm also using this as a bit of practice telling a story with multiple narrators, something I've been considering for my original fiction, Lightning Crashes. This story takes place between the events of The Last Olympian and The Lost Hero, approximately a month before. It follows three young demigods, Mavis, Alexander, and Alyssa, as they are tasked by the god of the forges himself to return one of his shields that has been stolen.
