Taking inspiration from Lord of the flies, lovecraft and liminal space is the story of Elijah and his girlfriend Hayley. Having won a prize for a week long trip on the mega cruise ship Good Fortune, they are enjoying a comfortable getaway from hectic college life. All seems to be going well until a strange phenomenon appears and traps the Good Fortune, along with almost 6000 passengers, in a bizarre mirror like sea where the laws of physics as they have known them no longer apply. As Elijah and Hayley struggle to stay safe in the midst of quickly deteriorating societal chaos they soon come to find that revolting passengers and dwindling food supplies may be the least of their worries and that perhaps their being here may not be quite as much of an accident as they initially thought.
