The story of Medusa's fall from grace as a priestess of Athena. When Poseidon seeks retribution for his niece's slights against him (read as "being better than him in every way and generally upstaging him") he lays his lustful gaze upon her priestess, Medusa. Will Medusa resist the advances of the divine king of the ocean or will such a paramour corrupt her ego, revealing the monster beneath the skin? Written in iambic trimeter
