A mysterious girl washes up to shore, rescued by a farmer couple. Nursed back to health is Milya who doesn’t remember anything but her name and a deal she'd made at death's door. Grateful to their care and generosity she takes them on as parents and enters an examination for a swordsman qualification. Passing the exam with flying marks she catches the eye of a mage who happens to be looking for a bodyguard as she had run out of mana potions and need to restock in the neighbouring country. Tempted by the generous deposit and reward, Milya follows the mage and discovers her memories one by one. What is her past?
