Edward while he was encased by the steel desk clenched his fist in a mix of anger and grief, but suddenly he saw a light in front of him, a dark green light piercing the darkness that enveloped the cage, with him hearing a female voice more so resembling an AI, simply said “Start.” He looked up in confusion, but he saw a large screen in front of him, which was the source of the dark green light. This single screen was divided into 3 categories, Offensive, defensive, and support, with an empty bar with the words “level 1.” Next to the empty bar.
Edward’s eyes wandered throughout the screen, with him eventually seeing “Health bar: 41/100, and Mana: 100/100.” He wondered what it meant, but he slowly touched a word or option on the screen below the offensive category, the word being “Longsword, level 1. Skill: Impale.” And below Longsword was “??? - level 5 Offensive.”
Meanwhile Yharvis snapped out of his reflection, and cocked his hand back preparing to do what he was ordered to do, “to eliminate anyone who is or was a part of the VHC along with anyone associated with said person.” Miya being a former member was a target, with her younger brother being “associated.” Then he swung down with Miya and her younger brother closing their eyes in fear, with Miya fearing for her brother while her younger brother feared for her. Then they all heard a loud “Clang!” noise near them, with Miya looking at the source in shock, with the boy collapsing on the ground.

“I will not let you lay a single hand on those two.” Edward said as he was holding a Longsword pointing it at Yharvis. Yharvis noticed something peculiar, one of Edward’s arms was covered in talismans that glowed a beautiful green hue, but the sight angered him even further, and without sparing any time, he dashed toward him preparing to punch him, but Edward instinctively blocked the blow, then with all his might he pushed him back before swinging the longsword at his chest, cleaving his warden uniform slightly revealing a little bit of skin.
“God damn it! I am too inexperienced to swing this thing!” Edward thought to himself as Yharvis attempted to counter, only for him to bash his fist against a rusty iron shield that floated beside Edward’s shoulder.
Yharvis had a confused expression on his face that Edward read as “why out of all places did he manage to awaken a calibre at this moment?” Then Edward took the moment of him being distracted to impale through his waist, but then Yharvis swiftly but more so out of panic smashed his fist into his left shoulder (his left arm was the broken arm).
“I need to fulfill my mission!” Yharvis roared before Edward roared back with him saying “Yeah?! I have my own mission I need to fulfill!”
