Edward suddenly woke up gasping for air, then looked around. He appeared to be inside a small cabin inside the woods, with the smell of cinnamon and oranges lingering in the air. “Where am I?” He mumbled. He saw his phone next to him, sadly it was horribly damaged beyond repair.
“From my memory, we were in some dimension or area of sorts, then encountered some Satoya look-alike out of nowhere, then I just remember falling through some portal.” He also continued, he then heard knocking on the door. “Come in?” He said, then a girl around his age with short brown hair, grey-ish green eyes walked in holding some freshly toasted slice of bread on a plate.
“My family found you in the middle of the woods, fortunately we found you before any bears, but you do have a couple bruises on your back, where are you from? Kylian’s capital?” She asked. Kylian’s capital is also known as the 6th capital, which is more so considered “North America.” In the real world.
“I was born there, but I was in Erideon’s capital before, but thank you for taking me in.” He thanked before he heard “The conflict at the Compass Rose for the G.A.A. are in conflict! South declared war, as also East, while the North and West were disagreeing. Will this continent see another day?” The news reporter announced. “Wait so what even is this conflict?” He asked.
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
“South is attempting to take this whole continent for the main power location for the entire organisation, they are trying to do so via forcefully taking our cities and lands, taking 20 cities, leaving barely half unaffected, this isn’t even a minor skirmish, its more of a war, but I don’t understand it fully.” She answered, as Edward started eating the toasted piece of bread.
“You came here alone?” She asked, in which Edward sighed, “No, me and my friends were trying to get here but sadly some sort of disaster struck and now we are all separated I can assume, but mind telling me more about South?” He asked.
“I don’t know her, but from what I heard, she was more so working in the shadows, but ever since this disaster started, she became more open.” She said, “W-wait, how do you know about disasters?” He asked further, “Oh, I’m a former VHC member, I still get notifications about stuff on my phone.” She said they then heard the front door of the cabin knocking, so she stood up and left the room he was in to open it.
“I hope none of my friends are going to get caught up in that conflict, but I shouldn’t jinx it. According to Rin, my calibre still remains dormant,so I really need to find a way to awaken it or something. I need to fight on my own.” He thought to himself deeply.
