3 hours pass by, the group are all exhausted, laying or sitting on the ground, drinking out of a water bottle, provided by Rin. Rin looked around, with a satisfied look, and clapped his hands.
“Well done! I think 3 hours of training is completely enough for you all.” He said as he walked back and forth trying to remember what he was planning to do, then his face lit up and left calmly.
Sakonori grumbled, as she was laying on the ground, her stamina all spent, as well as her body being completely sore from being unprepared to even train at all, but she sighed, “He didn’t even break a sweat, that is unbelievable.”
Satoya got up, wiping off sweat from his towel, and sat next to the rest of the group. Ludwig who was “sparring” with Satoya was continuing reading a book, with the cover page called “The Forgotten Cataclysm, The Eternal Storm. By ???”
Rin came back into the training grounds, smirking. “Alright now, I have requested Lionel to send you guys on a mission, ever heard of mt. Vaxotis?” He asked the group, the group looked at eachother oblivious about what they were going to do over there.
“Oh yeah, there’s a mall over there, but what about it?” Satoya replied, curious about what they are going to do there, he knew there was a mall there because Sakonori would usually text the group chat about wanting to shop over there, which ends up with her and Rayna dragging the rest to there regardless if they want to or not.
“Lionel believes there are a couple Iyas in there, secretly living within a safespace. Ever since this disaster started, an alarming amount of Iyas has appeared, thus people need to be sheltered, but in one of the shelters, vaxotis mall, are a couple Iyas, intelligent ones i can say, they have gained a human form, during the night, he believes some of the actual people in the mall, are being kidnapped and devoured by the fake people, thus I’m sending you guys to that mall to investigate, also don’t worry, the Iyas there are below level 4, anything below level 5 can generally be killed by normal means like well, shooting them with a gun.” He explained, before telling them to rest 10 more minutes, but as he left he seemed to have forgotten to tell them something, but Ludwig coughed before going silent.

“Oh right, Iyas have a level range of 1-10, 1 of course being the weakest and level 10 being the strongest level - recordable, anything above it has to be estimated roughly, although the highest level we encountered in history was level 16, but bye now.” Rin said as he left the room, Ludwig closed the book, before Edward gained enough courage and energy to get up and ask what he was reading, then proceeded to leave after cleaning his sword’s blade.
The group dismissed the information and all let out a sigh of exhaustion, Edward was still offended about Ludwig simply closing the book and leaving without an answer, but blamed himself for not speaking up earlier.
“10 minutes?! That's too short!” Sakonori complained, as she closed her eyes, she would suddenly wake up from a friendly nudge from Rayna, “It's been 10 minutes, and also, how’d you sleep within the 10 minutes, sleepy-head.” She teased before she helped her get up.
“Rin told us to go meet with Ludwig so he can transport us to Vaxotis mall.” Satoya pointed out as they found Ludwig who was reading on top of a tree, which was located across the entire headquarters, this time Edward asked “What book are you reading? It looks interesting.” But Ludwig glanced at him and made an expression that basically meant “You're wasting my time.” Edward reacted by clenching his fist in annoyance.
“H-hey! Ludwig, can you open the gate?” Satoya asked politely, trying to minimise the hostility, but Ludwig simply glared at the rest of the group and simply snapped his fingers, opening a gate right under the group, making the group fall into the gate.
“Not again!” Sakonori complained as she fell with the group.
