“Ludwig?” Satoya called through the gate, but while doing so, the gate was forcefully closed. Making him concerned, the group was too stunned to speak, “So aren’t gates or portals like not supposed to happen in normal physics and science? Then how the hell did a weird symbol forcefully close it?” Sakonori asked as Rayna turned to her with a confused expression, while Edward mumbled, “surprised you remember that lector.”

“We should get going, find somewhere safe.” Satoya said to the group in which they nodded in agreement and started walking around. The more they walked, the more strange it felt. Some of the bulletin boards were written in a language that doesn't even exists, and some of it was written in cryptic wording “beware.” or “You are watched.”

They ran into a strange statue, holding a hatchet, “This is eerie, we need to find somewhere safe.” Edward said before they turned around to walk somewhere else, but they saw a figure, a man that appeared a lot like Satoya, except a peculiar light blue slash wound across the chest, this slash wound isn’t on the man physically, more so a cosmetic of sorts.

“Is that..me?” Satoya mumbled before the man held out his hand, then 5 portals opened below them, this portal was different yet very similar to Ludwig’s gate-related calibre, except that the portal or gates was completely black, no light was inside it, just a empty void of space that ripped through the world, then they fell through, with Sakonori and Isaac yelling “Satoya!” As they fell through, they all fell except Satoya.

Satoya was left standing in front of the man that looked a lot like him. “Who are you?” He asked, but before Satoya could even get an answer, the man grinned, then pointed at him, and made a diagonal slashing motion, but a pure ray of stars and energy clashed with the energy that was released from the man, and exploded, which caused Satoya to get blown back, but a gate from Ludwig’s calibre finally opened, and Satoya went through it. As he went through the gate, he saw a look of surprise on the man’s face, then disgust before Satoya found himself lost inside a headquarters.

Ludwig was coughing, his energy all spent, but still retaining his usual composure, while Rin was more serious and concerned, "Why is that thing here?"
