[Participant in the RoyalRoad writathon challenge] Seph Tarmin works as a harvester in the city of Tuwallo, sheltered in the aegis of Harren Lailatt, the strongest vulcanite this side of the Thale Sea. After his father passed, Seph has lived and worked in Tuwallo saving for his ultimate goal. Ignition. Vulcanite ascension requires a catalyst, one that can only come from other vulcanites tearing off a piece of their power. A devastating loss if not offset by wealth.  Together with his friend Nax, Seph will try to take his first steps on the road to ascension.
