After recovering from the ascension ending Emily concentrated and a sphere of iron appeared in her hand. Dismissing it Emily tried various shapes and found the more complex the harder and longer they took to make and passed a certain point she could not produce it.
Emily also found that deferent metals cost more of her regeneration. Basic kilogram of iron only cost 1 regen point, steel cost 5, deep iron cost 10, deep steel cost 20, and mithril cost 30. Emily knew that the cost would lower when she leveled the mental conjuring skill but for now she had to pay a high price.
Emily’s regeneration stood at 219 regeneration a minute. She had base regen rate of 174, 121 plus half of wisdom stat for 53 points, and then 10% increase of her mental conjuring class which gave her another 17 points for 191 regen and then she got 15% form her Runic Mage Scholar which totaled 219 which meant it took a little over 11 minutes to fully regen her mana.
Emily could conjure 219 kilograms of basic iron but that meant she could not regenerate any mana so it was a balancing act, regen vs metal.
Emily decided to dedicate a full half of her mana to a new power suit of armor. If Emily used mithril she could only conjure 3.65 kilograms which meant either a thin suit of metal all around or very thin metal on non vital spots and heavier armor on vitals, she decided to go with a thin suit of armor all around and avoid getting hit.
Emily laughed at the thought.
Since she could only have two classes active and her mental conjuring was set by default, she could not change it, Emily switched her second active class to runic blacksmith and lost 28 regen points. Emily would reset her class the next day back to Runic Mage Scholar and regain the 15% increase in points but for now she had runes to inscribe.
The first part of the suit she needed to handle was the power generation backpack. Emily would make a steam powered suit of armor and use a heating rune to boil the water. The backpack had a large fully contained bottle of water on which she inscribed a structure enhancement rune and a durable rune, both runes stolen form rune sellers.
Emily had found her perfect memory and recall skills worked when she looked at runes so she had visited all the rune armor and weapons stores to memorize their runes. The structure enhancement did would the rune said enhanced the structure of an item and the durability rune meant it lasted longer.
With both at the highest rune and the rune script enhanced the boiler for the backpack could handle tremendous pressure and all it cost for mana was a simple fire rune. Creating the power generator with copper and magnetic metal lowered the cost of the power backpack and Emily found she could make two separate compartments each with a boiler and electric generator that each produced enough energy to run the suit themselves giving a much needed redundancy in case one side was damaged.
Emily had fun conjuring the small pistons for the hydraulic power of the suit, every part of the system receiving their own structure and durability rune. With the lowered mana regeneration Emily had to spend longer and longer time regenerating her mana but she could conjure parts smaller then she could have forged them so it was a bit of a wash.
Slowly the suit came together. For the main runes Emily created mostly enhanced agility runes but she could switch to strength runes if needed. The physical enhancement runes lowered her overall mana by a set 10% for each rune but since her regen was cut lowering her total mana meant her regen could catch up with her mana. Again it was a balancing act but Emily was happy with the final result.
Emily had used a game and the armor of a certain master chief as the inspiration of the suit and after donning it she could tell she nailed the look. Conjuring the blue mithril to look green and black was no problem so Emily stood wearing a green armored suit with what looked like black undersuit but both were made of mithril and enhanced with runes.
Padding and the hydraulic fluid she had an alchemist concoct was the only physical parts of the suit Emily could not conjure but everything else was. Emily slowly started to move in the suit, first slowly pouching the air, then kicking the air, getting faster and faster as she got use to the rage of motion provided by the suit.
The suit worked extremely well and when Emily activated the agility runes she could flip end to end of the attic in seconds.
Emily loved the suit.
Going to the basement she used the embedded runes for mana arrows in her hands to shoot at the iron targets and found the enhanced sensors and tracking runes she had added to the helmet meant she could hit with extreme precision a long distance away. The bad part was the regeneration cap and the lowered mana meant she could not count on the mana arrows.
Since she could change the mana arrows to each type of mana it was a good backup. If confronted with water she could quickly switch to fire mana arrow, if fire she could switch to water arrow, but her primary weapons were two long swords that she had to make thin and skinny enough to not take too much metal.
Enhanced with three runes, sharpness, structure, and durability runes even though the swords were reduced in thickness and width they were very dangerous and could cut though regular steel like butter.
Now it was time to test the suit out.

Stolen novel; please report.
Emily finally ventured passed the first level by choice. She found she could cut though the trash 1 Tiers with ease. Emily quickly cut her way through the first 10 levels and arrived at level 11, the start of Tier 2 area.
The first low level troll she encountered she beheaded with a fast swipe of her blade. Goblins were even easier and she could kill two a once with a stab at the heart to each enemy. The hard part was not their levels but numbers.
As Emily made her way down there were more and more swarming goblins backed up by more powerful trolls. Emily’s power armor was more than a match and the goblins poorly made weapons could not penetrate her armor.
Emily stalked into a cavern that the goblins and trolls had fortified. They had rock wall and a large village behind it and actual goblin lookouts.
Emily grinned and started running toward the wall. Activating her agility runes, Emily jumped the ten feet to land on top of the wall, with her left sword she impaled a goblin through the eye, and with her right, stabbed a goblin through the heart, both dying instantly.
Then Emily jump down and landed softly in the village and started cutting and stabling her way through it. With a roar three tolls exited the largest rock home in the village and Emily could tell one was caster. Ducking behind a stone house Emily saw a fireball slam into the house next to it. Weaving her way through the homes Emily made her way towards the caster.
Once she got close Emily jumped on a roof and run to the edge and jumped. Flying passed the two guard the caster did not have time to cast a shield spell before Emily slammed into him with blades sliding into each should and down into his chest.
The both tumbled into the ground with the caster died before he landed. Ripping the swords free Emily spun around and engaged the two trolls. They actually had armor but it was poorly made and maintained.
The guard on the left was first to complete the turn so Emily jumped on the rights back and stabbed both swords into his neck at the base of the brainstem. Severing his spinal cord Emily jumped off and turned to engage the last troll.
Jumping back Emily avoided a iron club to the chest. The troll recovered and made another swing at her that she easily dodged. With the troll having chest armor the only opening was the legs or neck. Emily ducked the third attack and running to the side of the troll used her right sword to cut the achilles heel of the troll.
When the troll roared and dropped to the ground Emily jumped on to it back and standing on top stabbed it in the neck, killing it that its brethren.
After the three trolls were dispatched Emily moped up the remaining goblins.
Emily loved the suit.

It was not until level 17 that it became a challenge. The goblins were L 75 and the trolls were L 100. That meant most trolls were on their second class, though at the very beginning with only a level or two in the second class. Level 17 also had more goblins and trolls with the fighting becoming a long and drawnout.
One fight Emily finally resorted to using her fire mana arrows. Stabbing a goblin in the chest Emily did not pull it out, instead letting go and aiming her hand into the face of another goblin. At point blank range Emily let off a fire arrow that superheated its brain fluid and its head exploded form the pressure.
Grabbing another goblin Emily crushed its trachea and threw the body into a rushing crowd of a dozen goblins slowing them down enough to fire more arrows at them before she yanked her left sword out of the body of the goblin she killed and with both started a dance that killed every remaining goblin in striking range.
The fight had lasted sixteen minutes and when Emily stopped moving everything in the cave was dead.
Sighing Emily took off her helmet and grabbed her water bottle, with a water rune on it mean it never ran out of water. Taking a deep drink Emily relaxed and waited for her mana to regenerate. It took some time to top up her mana with her mana regeneration cut in half but it also gave her enough time to take a break and regen her stamina too.
Eating some smoked meat and sipping water Emily recovered and readied for the next fight.

Moving on Emily walked down another twisting tunnel and exited into a cave. Looking the new enemy village over Emily could see more tolls this time at least a dozen with more than three dozen goblins as backup.
Looking over her options Emily sheathed her swords which were angled for cross draws, and readied herself to fire mana arrows at the trolls guarding the gate of the village. Aiming carefully Emily fired off a burst of arrows at the guards and seconds later they slammed into the surprised trolls.
Reaiming at the goblins on the wall Emily fired more mana arrows. The goblins started screaming and goblins started trying to exit the gate now blocked by the large bodies of the trolls. This gave Emily time to pick off the goblins that started climbing over their dead brethren.
Emily killed a dozen goblins before more trolls arrived. With her mana low Emily stopped firing and pulled out her swords. Running towards the gate Emily stabbed a goblin with her left hand and stabbed another with her right.
Emily meet a troll who had kicked the trolls bodies away to make an opening and activating her strength rune Emily jumped and scissored her swords to behead the giant troll. With another body blocking the way Emily jumped on top and started killing the goblin packed so tightly together that they blocked each other’s way.
More trolls started pushing goblins aside and in two instances actually killed their brethren. Emily used her enhance strength form the hydraulic power and the runes to aim and throw her swords into two of the trolls. The throws were so powerful that they actually lifted the trolls up and they flew backwards.
When they slammed down the weight crushed three of the smaller goblins. Launching herself off the body she was standing on, Emily turned it into a forward flip, firing mana arrows at the goblins and tolls. Landing on one of the dead trolls impaled with her sword Emily grabbed the sword and pulled it out spraying blood all around.
With a quick swipe she killed another goblin and jumping she kicked a troll in the head, crushing its skull. Jumping again Emily landed on the other troll that was killed with her sword. Now gripping both swords again, Emily preceded to stab, slash, cut, and sever the limbs of the remaining goblins.
Finishing with the last goblin Emily prepared to take out the remaining tolls. Emily jumped and kicked a troll breaking it ribs and launching her towards another two trolls. As she flew by Emily beheaded both before tucking into a roll when she hit the ground.
Springing up Emily stabbed the leg of the troll in front of her and ripping it out almost severing its leg. As the troll slammed into the ground Emily turned towards a troll that was running at her. It was using a charge skill and Emily dove between its legs and slashed and cut both legs off, the top half did not stop and was propelled into another troll.
As they crashed into a bloody pile Emily looked for her next victim. Seeing one with both hands gripping its club and raised over its head for a devastating downward strike Emily thrusted both swords into and through its jaw and into its brain.
Emily easily took out the remaining tolls and taking a deep breath Emily relaxed as the last one lost its head.
