Earth is destroyed, but due to an oversight by an alien empire, the people of Earth are saved and delivered to a nature preserve designed to save all of the Earth's extinct species. The problem is that this nature preserve was set up millions of years ago, and the empire that built it is long gone. Now the remaining humans must band together to survive in a harsh environment full of prehistoric creatures.
