In a world where anyone can choose who they want to be, what would you choose? A doctor? A scientist? A businessperson? Would you choose to be kind, or let anger define you? Hokichi Ishida, a 13-year-old Japanese middle school student, struggles daily to find a way to interact with people. He has no aims, no goals, and no meaningful relationships at school. But his monotonous existence is turned upside down when a girl from his class, Hayashi Runa, suddenly interacts with him through an incident. Ishida’s heart skips a beat—he’s captivated by her beautiful eyes. He’s in love. With his world filling with color, Ishida has one goal in mind: to impress his crush and make her fall in love with him. To achieve that, he realizes he must change. And so, Ishida’s life changes for... the better? This story won't have too much effort put into it, and the chapters aren't going to be too long. Pretty much only first drafts. I'd like to write this without feeling any sort of pressure to finish things on a schedule since I have a life outside of this story to attend to. I write this story because of a personal experience I've had very recently, and it inspired me to write something similar to it. Well, not similar, but the main idea is revolved around it.
