At the peak of war in a cycle known as the Lost Paradise where the influence of demons and monsters are at it's peak, Fenn and his party were at the lead of an advance force who carved a path through the ranks of the Demon King Ragreus. In the climactic battle, a decisive strike was dealt to Ragreus, however in a final act of defiance, he launched a surprise attack aimed at the priestess Sennia. Fenn, blocking the attack, was gravely wounded. Navri the Sorceress put Fenn under a spell of suspended animation in hopes of entreating the aid of the Goddess of Life. Unknown to them all, the cost of her aid would be far more than they anticipated...
