A group of professionals is working together to deliver a solution to an important client. They use words to form rules that manipulate the physical world. They develop solutions that solve problems. They turn requests into functionality. They are Wizards Incorporated.(You thought I was talking about software developers, didn't you?) In this short story that follows a group of wizards who are working on a special spell together, I was seeking to combine the world of fantasy with the realm of technology. Leaning on my long years of experience in the software industry, I wanted to weave in tech industry anecdotes that only true nerds would understand into a seemingly ordinary fantasy setting, all while providing an artistic outlet to some of my professional frustrations.
