Dark. Why was everything dark?
It was the first question that the angel asked herself after waking up.
The girl carefully spread her butterfly wings, but she felt resistance. The wings were glued together by some sort of mucous substance. She quickly realized that her bare legs were also submerged in wet slime.
"Is anyone here?" - The angel uttered in a gentle, heavenly voice, but the silence was the only answer.
The angel tried to stand up, but she felt a sudden pain. She touched her legs, the pain returned, she was battered and bruised, but she couldn't recall how.
In fact, she couldn't recall anything.
How did she get there?
How long has she been here?
What was her name?
The girl crawled on her arms, barely able to overcome the pain. Hours passed, but not much changed. She was still in the dark cavern.
That's until she overheard steps of two humanoids.
"Hello? Could you help me, please?" - The girl asked.

The humanoids came closer, they were wearing hazmat suits with round, glass helmets, from under which came an ominous, dim, orange light.
The creatures knelt next to the girl, grabbed her under her armpits, then started dragging her, back to the cave.
"Stop! It hurts!" - The girl protested, but the two strangers didn't react at all.
Two aliens dropped the girl right at the beginning, where she woke up.
"Please, get me out..." - The girl barely uttered in an exhausted voice, but the creatures just turned away and left.
The angel waited, and waited, and waited, in darkness, who knows for how long, but nobody was coming, nothing was changing.
The girl was thirsty. but there was nothing to drink except mucous water. The girl took some into her hands and sniffed it. It had a terrible stench, but she felt like she's going to collapse any minute If she doesn't drink. At the same time, she knew she would also collapse as soon as she tried drinking the brownish water.
The girl licked the water. She gagged, it was very bitter, but she forced herself to take a few sips.
"Help." - She uttered, but there was no one who would answer her.
"Help." - She whispered out again, only to hear a weak echo.
The angel wrapped her arms around her legs and started sobbing while repeating. - "Help... help..."
Nothing changed, so she started to crawl again, but this time she lacked the strength to continue.
She didn't even reach half the way towards the last distance.
Despite that, something changed. There was a dim, red light hovering over her head.
The girl looked up. Above her was a large orb with a red lamp, hanging supported by dozens of thick cables.
The angel observed the device, she didn't understand what it was or why was it here, but she spoke to the diode. - "Is anyone there? Please, help me. I beg you."
The device remained as it was, silent, so the angel continued crawling.
Hours passed and passed, until the angel saw the red light again. She checked the surroundings, she touched the stones and the stalagmites. She couldn't believe it, she was back in the very same room.
"No." - The girl uttered with trembling lips and collapsed.
