Poem 8 Moon

"Under the Moon.

The crows flocking.

Nightshade blooms.

A figure frozen.

Friend, soon.

Your seal be broken.

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

Grant them the boon.

Be eternal golden.

Behold the Moon.

The future released.

Held tightly to.

Virtue of peace.

Price of freedom.

Forsaken our needs.

Seen the truth.

Learn all-consuming [Cleanse]."

Note: this message was recorded 220 years ago, in the old cult of the Moon, during a ritual that sacrificed 'filth', to cast a [Cleanse] spell modified to target Halflings. The cult was disbanded after the ritual for unknown reasons.

Comment: A [Cleanse] a day keeps the filth away, a [Cleanse] a year keeps the people in fear.
