Author's Note: Truth and Retrospective.

Greetings, this is Mr. Fruity the author of the web novel The Reclaimers. I have come here today to share a message and most of all, a thank you.

Such grim openings might lead one to think that this story is over; it is so far from that, in fact it has only reached the mid-way point. The Reclaimers still has so much to tell, and I'll be damned if I let this story go unfinished like other diamonds I have stumbled across.

But what I have to do is share the Truth and provide my Retrospective on this series: What I intended to write is being shown in each and every chapter, even the remasters. Though, I have been refining the story in an official copy, one that I aim to publish. Does this mean that the web novel ends? No. It is simply a semi-rough draft but will contain the full story no matter how many changes are made. Everyone will have the same begiining and everyone will have the same end, that will never change. Mike Randall and Leccamaradel Araish's story is something I aim to bring to all audiences no matter where or how they read.

However there is something I must provide to give context to the audience: I am on a temporary HIATUS.

This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.

Why?

I had made the decision last Christmas to officially enlist in the United States Navy (USN). I will be departing onto a new adventure, not to abandon this work, but to give me life experience and create my own story which I wish to share with the world (of course naturally at the discretion of my Commanding Officer.)

There will be many hardships along the way. I do not doubt that. But I aim to become a man of honor and serve my nation no matter what happens.

Beyond the confines of our screens we are in a world of hurt. Some might view my actions of being rash, but I stand by my belief that my commitment will bring the world to a better place no matter how long it takes.

Do not fret or worry, I have and will be writing when I can, but this is something that takes mandatory precedence in my life.

Once more, thank you to the hundreds if not thousands of people that have stopped by this work and supported it in both silence and the few spare comments I garner. I hope this will not disappoint any of you, but I have made my choice to peruse this path in life.

Do I sound like a teenager who is getting sentimental for some unknown reason? Perhaps.

Either way, I'll see you on the other side.

Mr. Fruity signing off...
