Peace...

We claim to know it all.We claim to be philosophers; wise and clear-minded. We claim to have a universe of knowledge at our very fingertips and yet we don't have the ability to use it. We are but a child in the face of a real intellectual ultimatum.

Furthermore it will repeat and repeat, the cycle never-ending in the lifetime of our universe. Peace and conflict. There are no two things so similar, yet, so far apart from each other at once.

So, peace...

What do we know of one of the most simple yet contradicting words in all of the common dialects of our race?

Is it the absence of conflict? A mutual harmony of two opposing forces? Or perhaps it is simply the fake ecstatic thoughts a mind creates to distract itself from the deranged world it finds itself in on a daily basis.

But don't let these thoughts lead you astray, for in the end; peace, conflict, madness? What does any of it matter in the facade that many

of our race has come to hold on to and call life.

For in the face of unshakable oppression and adversity there is nothing the oppressed can do... Right?

Wrong. We can and will always strive for this notion of 'peace' that eludes even the wisest and most tranquil of soul. We can and have standed up to our oppressors and we can befriend the conflict and madness in order to create something that can truly be described as peace...
