Two-nine (later named Raven) is a young boy from an "off-the-grid" village. One day he decides to explore further into the surrounding forest and finds a strange pond with murky red water. No reflections can be seen on the surface. He later names this pond "Poppy Pond". At age 16, one of his adoptive mothers has died. Two-Nine packs his things and leaves the village, heading for Poppy Pond. After 3 years of hunting in the forest and experimenting with the pond water, Two-Nine is discovered by hunting monsters called the Defective. He runs and jumps into the pond in hopes of keeping the Defective away. He ducks under the surface and finds himself in another world. He is then met by an unknown room and the young man, Felix. (This is my first time using this website and my first time writing such a large story so bear with me for now.)
