The magic on Raia is declining rapidly, and no Being knows why. The loss of Magic has desecrated the Western region of Ephyria, causing more death and famine than any other on Raia. The Administration has been occupying the Ephyrian lands for four years now, primarily residing in the valley town of Drinn. The Administration is mining the Ranges for an unknown mineral that they claim will bring about healing and restoration, but the conditions in Ephyria only continue to worsen and the death toll is at an all time high. After the death of a young boy occurs in Drinn, Jo, Mei and Eve join an organized protest to ensure his name doesn't die in vain. What started peacefully quickly devolves into violent chaos, and Mei is arrested with no promise of her return. Ever. Jo and Eve strategically overhear a conversation between the Officials and learn that Mei has been taken to a prison camp in the North, referenced in the history books as being the most vicious and evil place on Raia. Jo and Eve embark on a journey to rescue their friend, but know their efforts will amount to nothing without help. They need Magic.
