This detective story is set in Kalk Bay. A virtually crimeless location becomes the centre of terrible crime when one of a series of murders occurs.  And all because they saw certain documents in the possession of a highly-placed spy.  Elderly Kate and her sidekick Cheslin solve the murder of the first person, but looming in the background is someone they may have missed.  The story revolves are Gerhard Dieter, an infamous Russian spy, and what might have happened to people had they discovered his identity. Entirely fictional, we delve into the world of boats and fishing, in the midst of idyllic village life, with the beauty and nature of Cape Town thrown in for good measure.
