Dianne Tianchao, the fourth in line to the great Tianchao dynasty is considered to be the useless child. Unable to even generate one point of experience for her never heard before absorber class she is seen as a waste at best and a liability at worst.  Until two weeks before her eighteenth birthday an assassin attempts to kill her and everything changes. Discovering absorption allows her to take the classes from those she kills, Dianne must rapidly build her skills, learning the skills of an assassin for those trying to kill her will stop at nothing to make sure she ends in a grave before she can rise to her true potential.  But before that she must organise the ball of the decade, attend classes, fight monsters and fend off wedding proposals.
