Synopsis
“Knowledge is power, power is dangerous, therefore knowledge is dangerous. That’s just the transitive property.” Introduction to the Second Charter of the Galilean Conspiracy, by Sir Issac Newton
When the Galilean conspiracy began, it was to prevent intellectuals from unintentionally harming themselves by revealing truth to power (the way Galileo did with the Pope). Since Newton and Leibnitz discovered Prestidigitation, the conspiracy had to adapt to protect everyone.
Decades after their deaths, in the summer of 1743, Owen Burton is on the cusp of entering The Invisible University, and we will all join his adventure as he is inducted into the Galilean Conspiracy and learns the true nature of the world.
But, as this is a tragedy, the prologue will detail his funeral about 10 months later.
Be prepared for a Mathematics themed Historical Fantasy with an espionage plot.
