The Penguin Imperium is in dire straits. For 3 years, the war with the robotic Legion has raged. Cities have been razed to the ground, entire provinces bombed and shelled into wastelands by both sides as they vied for control. Now there is only a singe canyon and the brave soldiers of the Imperium standing between their realm and total annihilation. If the Legion break through the Mountainrend canyon, then the war is lost, and the Penguin Imperium will fall. ----- Cover made by the awesome gej302 ! Notes : This story was originally written more as a late April's fools than anything else, but has taken a bit of a life of it's own. Yes, the Wing, Kanadaj and Lone of the story are referrences to the people on Royal Road, and yes, I have gotten their express permission before submitting the story. You might also ask 'This is fantasy ! Where's the magic ?' In this story, magic (besides the fact that the penguins can talk and have hands) is a very rare talent. Essentially, only some very few characters will have magic powers. Hence why most of the grunts are fighting with guns and a few officers will be walking around with swords and spellbooks. Schedule : Unlike my other story, The Fallen World : A Dungeon's Story, this story will NOT have regular updates. It's something I'm purely writing for fun, to decompress, and avoid writer's block on my main story. As such, I'll upload when I have a chapter ready, which could be at any day, at any time. Chapter length will be between 1 to 5k words.
