With the dawn of day, the King woke up eagerly. He relished it when he could do something malicious! Sometimes, he liked to wonder if he was a reincarnated Snitch himself! But, of course, that was not possible, as that would mean he would have invented his own kind. He put on his robes and walked slowly out of the bedroom with such strides that made it seem to be his wedding that day. No, there wasn't any wedding, but after quite a long time, he was finally doing something extremely evil. He was almost glad that the baby came into his life.
As the king stepped into the court, continuing his march with long strides, a loud voice began to shout:
"And here comes King Wazirita, the greatest king, warrior, strategist, ruler, father, husband, son, minister...."
"HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU TO STOP AT KING!?" the king thundered at once. He had to admit that he did not appreciate his former position as minister, and his servant would have gone on for hours and hours with his false praises if he hadn't been stopped. Despite his once cheerful mood, the king was ready to get things over with, which meant cutting off the unnecessary speeches and titles.
"Well...I am sorry, sir..." the attendant replied meekly.
"Next time you do that, I will drown you. Understand?" The King made a simple but dangerous threat. The attendant nodded, almost too quickly.

The only reason the king endured this daily nonsense was his wife. His wife, who he loved very dearly, had brought the attendant because he was her special servant at her house. He wouldn't dare drown him but it was necessary to say so.
"Yes, sir," the attendant finally replied after some time.
All the way through this, the courtiers were attempting to stifle their laughter and failing miserably. Profoundly embarrassed, the king attempted to change the subject, "Well, now, how about we start working on our tribulation for the court today?"
The courtiers nodded in response, yet inside their minds, secretly laughed at the king anyway. Convinced that everyone had forgotten the attendant's mistake, the king permitted the baby to be brought. The child was brought into the room, bundled in a warm blanket, fast asleep. The king did not feel any emotion towards this appearance, and continued the trial as it was.
"This baby was carried in a wrongdoer's hands. Clearly, we can't keep her." The king announced with a booming voice. "Furthermore, she will remain of no use to us. And tradition says that a newborn who has come in contact with a wrongdoer will not be kept by her parents, and should be immediately banished from the kingdom." In reality, the king just read the traditional scripts, and nothing of the sort is written in them. Only he was allowed to read them, so no one would be suspicious of him. The townspeople thought he was a dishonest king, but not a malicious king and so believed him.
The courtiers were like the townspeople, and they murmured in agreement.
The baby...was to be banished.
"The final decision of the court is that the baby will hereby be banished." With that, the courtiers and the king sighed heavily. Everyone but the king was quite depressed regarding this development. The Divinity had given her as a gift...but now...
