[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon Challenge] What is it like to see things from an outsider's perspective? To live your life afraid of being with others, so you choose to take a step back and see things as someone beyond the situation? How would you react if you were told who you are, and that you have lost the ability to change that forever? Would you fight against your oppressor, or would you take a step back and accept that you are who were said to be? Young Meriliin Adams is placed into this situation, and he has to decide for himself what he plas to do with his life. It is a hard choice to make and leaving it in the hands of an insecure, and indecisive 20-year old is hardly a recipe for success. Will he choose the hard path, or will he choose to be passive and accepting of the role that he is told to play.
