In my two years serving for the Marksburg police force, I've never come across a case I couldn't solve. Well, except for one---but we don't talk about the Themens murders.  But on this fine day, September 2nd, 1999, it appears I may have met my match once again. And this case... let's just say, it goes far deeper than anything I've ever seen before.  Deeper than anything humanity has seen before.
