Damien was the chosen hero of the church of Theia marked by the goddess to rid the world of those who oppose the Ygsil pantheon also known as the gods of light. taken from his family at five years old and raised by the church Damien would hunt heretics and enemies of the church. however an encounter with a former priestess of Theia will reveal that not all is as it seems. Damien will have a revelation that will break his spirit leaving only a broken tool and Theia has no use for a broken tool. Discarded by the goddess of light Damien will find himself before another goddess who will remake him as he takes up the onyx crown once worn by a dead Deity and becomes more than the man and hero he was before and is reborn in a new shape and form.
