Rising high school sophomore Daryl worked hard all year and half the summer to buy his very first immersion VR gaming system. The World of Galgalax isn't the premier total immersion VR world on the market, but it's what he can afford, so he's excited to be there. That is until he discovers that the world full of magic and fancy is also not so nice.  Groups of players called noob stalkers take advantage of loose griefer enforcement and go around killing noobs just for fun and a little extra XP. When, at level three, Daryl is attacked by two higher-level characters, he considers quitting the game. But Daryl suddenly finds a group of players who don't take kindly to bullies. They call themselves the Noob Squad, and they fight the good fight.
