Synopsis
Gylos is a realm to whom the inhabitant's control small, connected pockets, always fighting against the encroaching wilds. Small islands of civilizations in a sea of monsters and uncertainty, with several empires providing what little balance they were capable of before attracting the eye of a Great Beast. Explorers and Caravanners are the vanguard of society, forming the veins and lifeblood of the city-states around Gylos. With vast, boiling deserts, to sprawling forests, to mountains that stretch beyond the bounds of the heavens. A delicate balance, on the verge of collapse. All it would take is one rogue empire, and civilization would fall, or rise. And the city of Gyll, and its allies, wish to rule over the realm, granting a foothold to conquer the entirety of the wilds of Gylos. Apprentice bar maiden Aerin, a quiet orphan, makes a chance encounter that upends her small world, and embeds questions within her mind about her parents, and who they were, or are, she's uncertain which she would prefer.
