Inside the Dream Space, Cedric took a deep breath and released the illusions he had prepared.
For this usage of [Divine Intervention: Dream], he has 2 main objectives. One of them is to prepare the races for a sudden explosion in their population. He will introduce the concept of villages and the benefit of building more settlements.
No matter what, making liveable settlements took time. If they only do so when the population has started to increase, Cedric dare to bet a massive chaos will ensue.
As for the second objective, it is to introduce metal based currency with fixed value to the world. He wishes for the three races to directly skip from bartering into using metal coins issued by official authorities.
He does so because while observing the world, Cedric found bartering to be a pain in the ass. Just the process of bartering a wheat into a chicken could involve dozens of people and several hours to gather the parties involved. Those are simply too inconvenient.
He initially wished to skip even more steps and directly introduced paper money, but he immediately discarded it. The current races’ civilization still requires the usage of currency that uses material with equal worth to its value.
The materials used for the currencies must also be limited in amount. Cedric doesn’t want the currency system to be destroyed in its infancy because those people minted too much money.
There is also an even more important reason he discarded the idea for paper money.
The current races actually haven’t found the means to craft papers! They usually kept their record by engraving them on stones. Only the elves have found the means to create a clay tablet to write with after one of them found the means to bake river clay.
‘Perhaps I should also teach them how to make paper right now?’ Cedric rubbed his chin ‘Never mind, let’s first teach them about villages.’
The illusions he released begin to manifest into a city surrounded by vast fields.
As the human, dwarf, elf turned their head to focus on the illusion he created, Cedric said, “Soon, the population of your respective races will begin to increase. The amount of newborn will raise while their body will also be blessed and turn slightly stronger. Except for the elves that live in the magic forest, I suggest the others to separate some of your populations from the cities and create several villages.”
Cedric controlled his illusion and made the citizens of that illusory city leave their cities and build several villages.
In the midst of his explanation, Cedric paused for a moment. This whole controlling illusions while explaining reminds him of the time he gives a presentation for an assignment. Even the need to prepare a topic and what not is quite similar.
He discarded those useless thoughts and controlled the illusory people to build their village and reclaim more lands. “After separating into multiple settlements, go and reclaim lands suitable for agriculture. By this point, at least after the population boom begins, your race’s need for food would be met.”
Once the people inside the illusions had finished reclaiming their land and planted some vegetables and wheat, Cedric dispersed the illusions and spoke. “Everyone I summoned here is the leader of your respective races. So, you can reward the person that contributed most to the developments of villages with riches and status.”
“For example, the human race’s nobility system is a good idea. You could grant the people who’ve contributed most to the village’s establishment a title. ”
Cedric sensed the amount of energy that remained in the [Divine Intervention: Dream] and quickly clapped to gather everyone’s attention. “One last thing.”
He created several coins made of varying metals. “This is a metal coin. It is usually used as a currency to trade because of their rarity and their ability to last for a long time.”
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
Cedric created the illusions of a small market where several people are busy trading with coins. “You can switch the current barter system with metal currency systems and make trade become more convenient.”
“Furthermore, as there are multiple type of metals in the world, you can set a different value for different metals. For example, one gold coin will be worth 100 silver coins, while one silver coin will be worth one hundred copper coins.” Cedric explained whatever had come into his mind, while creating a gold coin before turning it into 100 coins made out of silver and changed it once more into 10.000 coins made out of copper.
Observing the three men for a moment, he dispersed all the illusions and quickly said. “Well then, there won’t be a question and answer session like before, because I am incredibly busy right now.”
Cedric then kicked everyone from the Dream Space before quickly controlling his mental power to leave it.
Inside the Divine Space, he somehow became anxious as he recalled how he had spoken. ‘Did I talk too fast? Do they get what I mean to convey?’
All of that anxiety finally combined into a sigh full of self doubt, “I am pretty bad at presentation.”
Then, he observed the octahedron shaped [Divine Intervention: Dream] and sensed the energy within it.
With his second usage, the energy contained inside [Divine Intervention: Dream] has decreased even further. From what he could sense, there was only around a tenth of energy left inside. Which means he couldn’t use it as a PPT anymore.
It is also the reason he seems to be extremely rushed when explaining things to the three people he summoned. The energy limit makes him incredibly anxious.
Controlling his mental power to enter the Crystal Cube world, he truly hoped the three races would follow his suggestion. Especially the humans.
He is seriously afraid they’ll somehow slaughter themselves to extinction. Gratian and Lucius’s case still gives him some trauma.

Inside Winter City’s palace, Lacius woke up with a jolt from his bed as his body was drenched with sweat. “Have I truly met the god Gratian often talked about? So, they aren’t something Gratian made up?”
He recalled the scene where the god has created a city complete with thousands of living creatures and thought, ‘The power to create things is indeed something only worthy to be held by a god.’
Lacius’s mind quickly churned as he digested the information he got from the dream. ‘The god doesn’t seem to mind the fact I’ve killed Gratian. They even said the one they pulled is the ruler of races. That means they acknowledged the fact I am the ruler of mankind.’
‘Then, there is also the fact that there are actually other races that exist in the world. Except for the humans, there are at least another two races.’ Lacius thought as he slowly sat on the edge of his bed and muttered, “Does that mean there are still a lot of places outside the Sacred Kingdom that I already control? From what the god said, I knew for a fact that the so-called elf races lived inside a magic forest. But I still have no clue for their exact location.”
‘Also, why do they seem to be extremely anxious? It’s like they’re fighting against time.’ To be honest, he is incredibly curious about what could’ve caused such a grand existence to be anxious.
Lacius held his forehead as he ruminated on it. At last, he gently shook his head and got dressed while shouting to the subordinate guarding his room. “Bring Hars and the others to the throne room! I have several important matters to discuss!”
Lacius then left his room and walked toward the throne room. While walking in the palace at a slow pace, he slightly went into a daze.
What he needs to care about right now is the news the god has just sent him. The fact that the human population will soon increase is an extremely dangerous problem. Especially with how most of the field has been abandoned due to Gratian’s law to gather young men to expand Winter City and build his palace.
Upon arriving in the throne room, Lacius saw Hars and a few other subordinates had arrived. Those people who also lived in the palace are the first ones to arrive.
To be honest, Lacius didn’t understand why Gratian had made such a massive palace. There are simply too many empty rooms inside. So, under the idea of making use of excess things, he asked most of his subordinates to live inside. Which he found to be a smart move as they could quickly gather with his call.
As he sat on the throne, Lacius waited for a few minutes. When he saw most of his important subordinates had arrived, he quickly said, “I’ve just met with god in a dream.”
His words sparked discussion among his subordinates as they looked at him with a doubtful look. Lacius secretly heard some of the words they uttered and nodded his head. “That’s right, the god I met is exactly the one Gratian believed in. In the dream, the god has acknowledged my rule over humanity.”
“Praise the king!” “Praise the king!” All of his subordinates shouted, which Lacius replied with a small hand gesture as a motion to make them stop shouting.
“Except for that, the god has also sent a revelation. Soon, the amount of human population will begin to increase and they will also grant blessing for our descendant. The god has told me to build villages and introduced metal currency to the kingdom.”
“So, I’ve gathered everyone here to plan for the implementation of the metal currency system and the formation of villages. “ After Lacius said it, he began to explain the concept of villages and currency he learned from the dream.
With his explanation as the foundation, the sound of discussion lasted for a long time as his subordinates began to find a way to implement those ideas.
