Synopsis
Jason never asked to be a warrior. One moment, he was trudging home after another miserable day, and the next, he was ripped from his world, thrown into the brutal and unforgiving Games of Raz—a blood-soaked contest where survival is a privilege, not a right.
Now, stranded in a realm where death lurks in every shadow, Jason must carve his own path, unlocking hidden power within himself while facing terrifying creatures, ruthless challengers, and the suffocating weight of his past. Haunted by the memory of his sister’s death, he struggles to keep his mind intact, even as sinister forces seek to shatter it.
Alongside Maggy, a Spirit Warden with her own doubts and fears, Jason fights to unravel the mysteries of the game. Each battle pushes him closer to his limits, each enemy slain fuels the growth of his Ascendant Core, the well of power that must be filled before he can ascend beyond his mortal constraints.
But Jason is far from the only contender. Dark figures move in the shadows, unseen forces pull at the strings, and something older than the Games themselves watches him with chilling interest.
To survive, Jason must learn that strength is more than just power—it’s the will to never kneel, never break, and never let the past consume him.
And if the Games of Raz want to crush him, they’ll have to try harder.
