Though his hopes are low, Alden, like almost every other eighteen year old in the world, wants nothing more than to be one of the chosen ones, a title that would finally allow him to provide for his family. When the day finally comes, however, what meets him is beyond his wildest dreams. He immediately understands that his path as an [enlightened] will be like no other. As a near-singular entity, Alden will embark on a perilous journey riddled with challenges and revelations. He will travel the world of the [enlightened] and will uncover its secrets, sometimes against his will. Through his adventures, It won't be long before he realizes that this world is far grander than he ever could have imagined.   What to expect from this story - A power system heavily based on music and the physics of sound in general. - A main character who is not a pushover but also not an asshole. Do not expect him to be overpowered but do expect his powers to be special compared to the rest. He will find himself in hopeless situations at times and even lose. Most often, victories will be a result of his hard work and cunning instead of luck. - A story set in a slightly futuristic world which may resemble our own in some aspects.
