Synopsis
The city streets were once a wonder to Sasha, so full of beauty and joy. As a farmer's daughter from a rural village, she saw the lively atmosphere and yearned for it while cursing her place in life.
But the fates are cruel, and they granted her wish.
Now, homeless, and without a single copper to her name, these streets are barren of joy and devoid of hope. And beauty? Well, like trust, beauty will get you killed...or worse.
With no family, no friends, no shelter or money most people would rot away, but she couldn't afford to lay down and die, not when there's vengeance to be had, not when there are monsters to be killed. It lit a fire in her, and with that as well as a healthy penchant for violence it's no wonder, in hindsight, why they took her. Oh she would kill monsters alright, they'd make sure of that.
Random DND backstory that i'm getting wayyyy too carried away with. A farm girl's village gets raided by men who look like monsters, or monsters who look like men, semantics. flees to the city, finds nothing but poverty and has to learn real quick.finally picked up by a roving band of Paladins and learns to fight real monsters.
I'll keep posting here for a few more chapters to see if y'all like it. Feel free to point out mistakes in grammar and punctuation, I'm no prolific published author by any means. Let's see if I can't get better.
Hope you enjoy,
