Camis believes he can be more than what he is. And that was the belief, interestingly enough, that almost got him killed within two days. But it was also the belief that gave him the opportunity to change his life around entirely. He gains a boon by the game god that "gamifies" the world, giving creatures stats, and healthbars, and abilities levels. He quickly realizes the value of such a boon, and through it, he intends to climb to the top of the monster mercenary guild, to black rank. But he has to ground his dreams, as he's at white and needs to reach yellow first.  But his story is entwined with many others as the world of monster mercenaries carries many with potential, and that is not to forget that the monsters have their own guild, with their own heroes. This world is an unforgiving world, where every mistake is punished, every weakness is exploited, and death sits around every corner, waiting for his chance to take you.
