An old school, epic length, science-fantasy tale.  In The Medallion, Corvan’s ongoing subterranean adventure becomes increasingly complicated by his dependence to the power of the lumien seeds. The storyline expands to include Kate’s POV and the city of Kadir becomes a doorway to other caverns, cities and settlements. Cor Series backgroundEmulating early “portal” fiction such as “Stranger from the Depths” (1967) this subterranean adventure takes place in real space and time (1952).  A progression fantasy in the sense of increased understanding and skill, but also times of significant regression due to MC choices.  A science based world that at times appears somewhat magical. Love interests reflect the historical time frame and the young age of the MC’s. There is a significant shift heading into book II. Environmental undertones which reflect and expand on real world issues.   A personal project for over 15 years so there is a substantial backlog of chapters awaiting final edits and posting.
