A deity announces to a married man that he will be reborn with special gifts, as well as a curse. Suzuki, now reborn as Liam Ulfringer, attempts to suceed in life with the goal of eventually returning home to his wife. His gift may give him an edge in life, but his curse attracts women to him. Suzuki, still fiercely loyal to his Wife and child, does his best to abstain from relationships with women. Will he stay focused on his wife and continue to find a way home? Or, will he settle down in this new world, and accept his place. Hey, Author Gritts here. I've read a lot of isekai's, and I've always had two main issues with them. 1. Why is the main character so damn dumb when it comes to relationships. 2. Why are all the characters so flat, onesided, and uninteresting? In the end, I've decided to write this story as a refutation to those two issues. First off, the main character used to be married. He has gone through every step already of relationships. He's experienced the highs and lows, and has a decent idea of how to navigate them. This gives him a huge advantage when it comes to things like: reading the atmosphere, responding to signals, and actually communicating with the other party. Second, I will be trying to keep the cast of characters small, with a focus more on the relationships between characters. This will hopefully shy away from the classic, "how many different women cliches can we fit into a single harem" trope, and instead lean towards the personalities that will thrive in a small group setting.
