Synopsis
A cowardly terrorist group has trapped thousands of people in a VR MMO, and they have to beat... some dungeon or something. Who cares at this point; that was big news three years ago. It doesn't matter anymore. Meanwhile, elsewhere in the game, a group of outlaws, outcasts, and outsiders decide to help a fifteen year old boy find his kidnapped older sister. Or they could be really helping themselves undo every awful crime they committed in the three years they've been trapped in the game. But when you're an ex-virtual-SOF-op, or ex-gangster/arms-dealer, or ex-sham-priest now-turned wannabe-real-preacher, or ex-hacker-vigilante/vigilante, there's no guarantee from any god or force of nature that you'll get that redemption--or that you'll even survive your trek across a lawless hell to get it. Who has hope after World War III went down, anyway?
