> Lit by the moon and carrying a small arsenal they stalked through the trees.
>
> Khalid, King, Rocko led the way with Woody a short distance behind followed by Becca. Solomon and the ever loyal Neckbone lagged behind. Solomon wasn't exactly 100% but had insisted they strike now while Babul's men were scattered. It was the right move, but it meant Solomon wasn't his usual self.
>
> "You alright?" Becca whispered. The moon was bright and full gave the forest extra light.
>
> Solomon grunted in assurance.
>
> "I ain't all there" Solomon said. "...But I ain't gotta be for what I gotta do".
>
> He tapped the bag he was carrying. While the rest of them were more loaded down, he just had one small sack.
>
> "At least let me carry it until we get there" Becca said.
>
> He gripped it tired.
>
> "Ain't lettin' this out of my sight".
>
> "Moons bright" Becca remarked, changing the subject. "Giving us lots of light, but makes it easier to be seen"
>
> "I'd like it less if it was a crescent" Solomon said.
>
> Becca snorted, her face turning into a smile, but it turned into a frown when she remembered the way they had perverted their state flag into a symbol of Jihad.
>
> "Jennifer always liked a full moon..." she said, trying to take her mind off the thoughts, but it had went to something far worse and a tear ran down her cheek and she slowed her pace, allowing Solomon to quickly catch up.
>
> "Hey" he said, grabbing her shoulder and directing her to her eyes. "You alright?"
>
> The rest of the group, hearing, slowed but pretended not to listen.
>
> "Yeah..." said said, composing herself. "Just had a moment..."
>
> "Not just that" Solomon said. "You going to be alright for this? In there?"
>
> The corner's of Becca's mouth turned and her eyes narrowed.
>
> "I'll be fine, Solomon" she said a-matter-of-factly, her voice with an edge to it. Her face went from annoyed to angry.
>
> "I'm not questioning your capabilities, girl" Solomon said, reading her mind. "I've seen the shit you can do. You're on that real time shit. But if emotions..."
>
> But there was more to her emotion and reaction than Solomon had gaged. The need for revenge was now boiling over.
>
> 'I told you I'll be fine" she said again, this time in a clearly angry tone and batting Solomon's hand off her shoulder with surprising strength. "You got it?"
>
> The rest of the group had stopped completely now and were watching.
>
> Solomon took in a deep breath and nodded.
>
> "Just don't go gettin' yourself killed not thinking clearly" he said. 'I've grown fond ya"
>
> For a split second there was a glint in her eyes. A sadness. A sense of love and appreciation. Of guilt and regret. Her mouth even frowned for a second before hardening again.
>
> "They took everything from be, Solomon... everything" she said. "All that matters is that they die... So... if we're done talking can we please go kill these motherfuckers?"
>
> If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.
>
>
> Solomon nodded again. There was a pause, like Becca expected there to be more, but there wasn't. Without a word, everyone started moving again in unison.
>
> A few minutes later, Babul's compound became visible in the distance.
>
> They got lower and crawled on their knees.
>
> Babul's compound was interesting enough. It consisted of an old scrap yard that had been built on the grounds of an old Summer camp ground and next to a trailer park. This was all his compound now. He'd spent months fixing it up and fortifying it even before taking over. The trailers, buildings in the scrap yard and the old camp buildings were all being used. There had already been a razor wire fence around the scrap yard portion, but it now extended around the entire property. Even crazier was they had stacked old cars from the scrap yard on top of each other behind the fence, creating a second barrier.
>
> "They changed this place a lot" Rocko said, dumbfounded. They had counted on him to know the area best as he used to come here and buy weight plates and dumbbells at scrap prices before Babul and his men had purchased the land and converted it.
>
> "Shit" Woody said. "You think all our mapping was for nothing?"
>
> Solomon shook his head.
>
> "Nah. It's different, but the basic structures are the same... and we know where that mother fucker will be. That's all that matters. The only thing different really we didn't expect was this big ass fence... but, King? You got this?"
>
> King nodded and pulled a large pair of bolt cutters from his bag.
>
> "Good" Solomon said. "Be careful. There's probably motion censors and cameras everywhere. You can see they already got more lighting. Stick to the shadows..."
>
> Everyone nodded and Solomon opened his bag, pulling out a remote explosive.
>
> "I'm gonna get going on these puppies. You make it to your positions... 20 minutes tops... once we hit 20 I'm hitting it"
>
> They all nodded and got their watches and phones ready. At the same time, they set a 20 minute countdowns so they'd all be in sync
>
> "Alright, let's do this..." Solomon said, grunting. He held his hand out and everyone put their hand together into a pile.
>
> "For freedom... liberty... and kicking the shit out of Towelheaded pedo bitches" he said in a defiant whisper.
>
> They all nodded and made noises of affirmation and with scattered in different directions.
>
> Khalid and King left together. Rocko and Becca went another way and Solomon and Neckbone venturing off on their own.
>
> "Hey" Woody called after Solomon. "You sure you don't need help?"
>
> Solomon shook his head.
>
> "Get going" he said. "They need you more than me"
>
> He gestured to Khalid and King, making their way crouched down from tree to tree.
>
> Woody nodded, Solomon nodded back and as Woody turned to go after Khalid and King he turned back, but Solomon and Neckborn were already gone.
