No amount of science could have prepared man for the sudden changes. A wandering dark planet moving faster than anyone could have imagined entered the solar system. Planetary orbits changed, meteors rained, and an extreme climate overwhelmed the Earth's surface within a decade. At first, astrologers noticed some strangeness in the planetary orbits, and forshadowed the end of the world. But man knew of these skeptics.  First the zombie apocalypse, and then the ancient gods were angry? What blasphemy. Little did they know that their entire lives were about to change. Everyone noticed the heat. Crops started failing. The sun burnt everything. Man had to act fast. Led by a hero unlike any have ever seen, the human race did not lose hope. The hero's ability for managing and directing the masses proved its worth. Every resource had to be used, every man, woman and child put to work. Man's salvation seemed near. You could almost taste it... but then the mice came, and along with them came the end of the greatest hero of all. It is in this world that our young protagonist is born. What challenges will he face? Can he become the next chosen? Only time and a mouse can tell.
