Who will the Mafia target next?  Deep in the forests of an unknown country, seven scientists work to find a rare creature. But not all is as it seems. A sabotager known only as The Mafia works to stop the expedition. A Detective and a Medic work to stop the Mafia. Who will succeed? Or, more accurately, who will still be alive to find out?  The Mafia is a short story I wrote for school, but I really liked how it turned out, so I decided to post it here! It's inspired by the game 'mafia,' which is really fun to play with friends!  Gore: this story doesn't have a lot of actual gore, however it does have a few non-descriptive scenes of blood/death.
