A story strongly inspired by the setting of the game 'Book of Hours'. Seven long, but quiet years have passed since a devstating fire tore through Bancrug's library and its caretaker (The Librarian) mysteriously went missing, an event that left the townspeople scarred and resentful. On the anniversary of that dreadful day, a half drowned woman is found washed up on the shore. When its revealed that she is a replacement for the old caretaker and had been sent to restore the condemned library, the new Librarian faces a multitude of challenges brought on by unresolved issues left in the past to fester. She must work to regain the trust of those who call Bancrug home if she has any plan to succeed in rebuilding, but the brooding Blacksmith and the insufferable heir of a crumbling estate seem to have every intention of seeing her fail.    And they aren't the only ones...
