At the Edge of Dawn, a blanket of confusion covers the various shards as the gears of time march forward, bringing forth a new age. The Land of Mud and Salt has been trapped in a perpetual war of no consequence, but the mages have introduced a new weapon capable of ending the war. Deek and Emb, soldiers of the voidborn have a mission to deliver a valuable prototype weapon to the front that can balance out the war once more and prevent the Land from descending into bloodshed.
