Synopsis
Almost every major monarchy lost their right to rule In the modern era but that was only recently so- the main being Egypt's in 1952, Japan after the world war and Britain technically kept their right to rule alongside some stipulations but what if this wasn't so?
An potencial alt history written based off the lone king of egypt of modern day (currently located in Switzerland weeping over the history of egypt) I took some liberties- primarily I took a litrpg approach in the 1970's when no one really knew what or how that would mean. Specifically the world transfers into a larger domain on the universe with little to know explanation or fanfare on the lone kings 18th year. The story will have the king have alot of power via objects and abilities but the expectations will also be high considering said abilities and an ancestorial obligation. I contemplated writing this from the perspective of the Japanese king right before he gave into the Americans demand that he "deny his right to rule given by god" and have it as a divine given second chance at redemption for the royal bloodline but while I'm not quite writing that story (I'd rather avoid real life history in such a way that the japanese are depicted as the rightious bloodmongers that they were, because that might anger the weeaboo's out there such as my friends.) But if anyone is interesting they can have full right to that idea or a variant of it.
I write most of my storylines as a plausible idea that I think would make a good story, and write more when inspiration comes but theoretically I'll have more time to write soon- I just have to figure out how to put boxes in xd
