Kraloka is under attack. Chimera beasts have broken through the outer defenses and threaten the inhabitants of the Grove. In desperation, the nobles permit the use of a forbidden spell, dragging the workers and patrons of a fried chicken restaurant into their battle for survival. These other worldly heroes must travel to the Jote Tree at the heart of the Grove, where they might unlock their true powers and find a way home.
