D used to be a normal, down on his luck, depressed twenty-something living in a small town in Texas. On the night he planned to end his life, he met an old man who gave him a strange gift: a sword made of stone that was almost as big as himself. After taking hold of the sword, D suddenly found himself in an unfamiliar, new world. He thought that maybe a fresh start like this was all he really needed. There's only one problem. Nothing but hills of grass surrounded him, and all he had were the clothes on his back, a gun in his pocket, and the old man's strange sword. He didn't know it then, but the stone sword held a mysterious power. D will need to discover and tame it while learning how to survive in this new world. Did the old man benevolently grant him the power of a king, or is D falling right into a meticulous trap?
