The Kingdom of Whybarr sits at a crossroads.  For three hundred years, their kingdom has struggled to survive after the disappearance of a once great species and the emergence of their own.  Now, it seems enemies lurk in each direction, and worse yet, within their own walls.  At the center of the trouble is a family of young leaders and their trusted friends (along with a few untrustworthy allies).  The family is forced to choose between duty and honor, achievement and family, their nation and themselves.  Along the way, they face intense battles, sneaking scoundrels, and technical difficulties.  Oh, and huge explosions, maybe monsters too.
